Rs.180 crores has been progressing at Mawdiangdiang, 7 Kilometers from the
City cent.

Institute expresses deep gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India,
Shri Atal Behari Vajpayee for declaring NEIGRIHMS as a National Institute on

January 2000
when he visited
Shillong. NEIGRIHMS. It was included in the Prime Minister’s Package for
the North East in 1997.
